-By recording your purchase and intake of your medicine, iMedicine will automatically figure out the amount of medicine in hand.

-You can easily look up your inventory of medicine.
When you records your consumption, number of stock is automatically subtracted.
And when you records your purchase, number of stock is automatically added as well.
It keeps your inventory of medicine up to date.

-Reminds you when your next dose should be taken.
You can easily set up a plan for your medication.
Once you input your daily routine such as breakfast time and so on, iMedicine will automatically draw up a schedule for your medication, and let you know when to take the medicine by the sound of an alarm .
Also these schedule can be easily adjusted manually afterwards for the maintenance.

-Keeps your medication history.
You can keep your medication history; when, which medicine was taken by whom by simply imputing your daily intake.
HIstory can be retrieved by the title (or the kind) of medicine or by the intaker at any time.

-Keeps the record of your purchase of your medicine.
It tells you when and where you have bought your medicine for what price.

Pros and cons of iMedicine app for iPhone and iPad

iMedicine app good for

Ive tried other databases to manage my medications but this one is the best so far. Ive set up my medications and my Mums and it manages both ours with ease. It reminds me when to take my medication when Im at work and busy and forget to take it. Now no more forgetting. I just wish it could send refills to my pharmacy. I do agree that setting up all the information is alot of work but once you do it, its well worth it.

Although this app takes sometime to figure out, it has the most comprehensive medication tracking features. It is especially helpful in keeping accurate time/date stamps of medication administration times. As a graveyard shift worker, I am grateful for the ability to customize all scheduled medication times (I can make the everyday at bedtime automatically schedule for 0900 rather than 2100). The ability to keep an accurate inventory of all my medication has also been incredibly helpful. It helps me refill my meds so they will be ready at the pharmacy before I run out, and it assists me in accurately budgeting my monthly prescription and over the counter medication costs.

Some bad moments

It does keep track of how much medicine you have, but the alerts function does not work. I have set it up to remind me of my meds, but the alarm does not go off. I then go into the app and *then* the alarm goes off. I cant really recommend an alarm that needs to be reminded to go off. I am hoping they will come out with a fix.

I really like this program and it;s a great system to keep track of all you and your familys meds. My biggest complaint it that its hard to figure out and there isnt enough resources to help with the issues Im having. Thnaks

I dont recommend this program because it does not let u put your own time in without putting in the time everyday. I want to set the times ones and it should just continue on that time everyday without having to program it in eveyday. I dont want to go by the times they give because it does not work with my schedual. My son has to many meds to put in & I dont have the time to do that everyday. He has 17 meds several times a day. This program is no help to me at all.

App still slow to respond even after installing new rev that was supposed to correct this issue.

I cant use this app, it doesnt do what you think it should! The Quick Start Guide will not open on my iPhone completely (its blank after the first page). I cannot save the quide as a pdf file. It was a total waste of money.
